Looking for a new Camera Body R6II or R5? What’s better for weddings? Moving from a 5DIV

I tried the R6 and the body doesn’t feel comfortable in my hands as the 5D did.

What’s a better event camera?

(Not a wedding shooter, but...)

Suggest you try the grip. I moved to R5 after shooting 5D series for 10 years. I prefer strongly to use it with the grip. Gives a beefier 5D series like feel and makes hand holding more comfortable. The battery performance is also much improved since, as I understand it, the camera alternates batteries for each shot.

If you don't have a problem with the lesser resolution, the R6-2's advanced AF system may offer an advantage over the R5.
