I tried a new method of hiding. Usualy I'm in a standard blind right on the edge of the river, but it was difficult getting the right angle for good approach shots. So I tried just sitting in a chair, shooting though an opening in the bushes, and covered by a sheet of camo burlap. I cut a hole for my head and just draped it right over me. I wondered if the eagles would be worried about my head, but they didn't care at all. They landed 50 feet in front of me, looked directly at me, nonplussed, and carried on with their business. It was a fun hour and a bit watching.
