Windows.

Summer is still here on the calendar but kids are back to school. its starting to chill at night so windows might not stay open or they might need their end of summer cleaning. an opportunity to see into something. like it might be a window to your SOUL! lol (Youve Got Mail reference. i hope)

This challenge begins when posted and ends at midnight GMT on 11 September 2023. The winner will be announced shortly thereafter.

The Challenge Rules:

1. Camera: Any DIGITAL CAMERA is allowed.
2. Time: Any on-topic photo taken at any time is eligible, although photos that have won other competitions should NOT be entered.
3. Size: Please visit Image Posting Rules.
4. Post Processing: Do whatever you like, and the host will decide if it works.
5. Posting: ONE PHOTO per photographer per challenge. List camera model & lens used. Post brief EXIF data: ISO, shutter speed and aperture.
6. Commenting: No commenting during challenge. When the posting is closed and a winner declared, comments can be made in this thread.
7. Keep it clean, and both Family and Work safe.
8. Have questions, PM me.
9. Have lots of FUN!

okay. it is now 0100 Zulu (GMT) so the challenge is closed.

results coming up:

2nd Runner Up ~ Don Old Crow. a window within a window (of sorts)

1st Runner Up ~ Ed dilorenzo1954. sun themed 'unstained' glass did it for me

Winner ~ Chris Eidelweiss. i have a similar photo of my daughter when she was about 5 that i absolutely adore and your photo brought back memories of when i made it with my Canon F1n

thanks RWDP and InPhoto for adding to the challenge.

i honestly thought someone would throw a photo of their Microsoft Windows screen in here.

This was a random shot. I never got to talk to the mother, or I would have surely sent her the picture.
