I think it is fitting upon hearing the news of POTN closing down by the end of the year, to offer, in retrospect, what I consider the beginning of my hobbyist career, a photo I shot at age thirteen with an Agfa pinhole camera, borrowed from my grandmother for a high school day trip.

The Halkida narrows (Evripos narrows) in Greece, 1966. Scanned 40 years later...
