The Dutch word is “doedelzak” which is exactly the same. It’s our word for bagpipes, you know: “Oh, Danny boy, the pipes the pipes…”

I think I would rather have Snicker Doodles. Bagpipes give me a headache.

I guess I've gravitated towards 1600px as it fits nicely on my monitor. Looking at the direct comparisons, maybe 1200-1300 might be more reasonable. FWIW, they all seem to automatically downsize nicely when viewing on mobile.

I find it ironic that since Pekka’s announcement traffic on the board is up and not by a little bit. You step away from your computer for a while and when you come back you are greeted by 68 notifications, or thereabouts. I’ve not seen that in years. I can hardly keep up.

You can do direct uploads, but it requires a paid account.
Side note; despite what it says below, you can participate in Assignment Contests without the paid membership. I have an image in one of the contests now and I'm not a paid member. I also have a custom avatar without a membership.

you'd have copied the image up to POTN at some stage - you probably don't but I keep a folder of images that I post, including avatar...

You must be subscribed to more threads than myself, I usually see 4 maybe 5 if I wait a couple more minutes. The Title Fairy folks aren't pulling their weight.
