Apparently, you and some others were there to cause mischief and take over parts of the roll of TP.

Snakehead is one of those who knows what he knows and don't confuse him with the facts.

The guy sounds just a tad over the top to say the least...to say it nicely.

On the other hand I don't think he broke any law by creating a thread.

It’s a pretty derogatory comment, comparing new members with children.

He’s fairly ridiculous.
Maybe he has a God complex! :-D

Actually it was the other guy in Jack’s screengrab, L320Rio, a member, who started the threads. I said something about it in the POTN thread, that I thought it was weird and not right. Then Cobra/God made error after error until all hell broke loose. It was the worst moderation I have ever seen.

"Snakehead" is now in my personal lexicon as a derogatory comment. Thanks!

I'm in!

After I started thinking that my provider's domain was blacklisted, I looked it up and some paths were at least timed out. So I thought I would try using my gmail account. And that got me in immediately! Phew.

Time to do some exploring. Well, actually tomorrow. Time for bed now.

Hmmm, no waving hand emojis here...

.
Great!

I also joined. . I am not expecting it to be everything that POTN has been - it would not be fair to expect that of any community. . But I am hoping it will fill part of the void that is left.

I hope to see you there!

Apparently HE the Admin was an a$$ and from what i've read he has a history of being brash and condescending.

I deleted all the images I posted there and asked to have my account deleted.

I've been freed!

Cameraderie also seems sketchy to me, with responses
between welcome and **** off.

I respectfully, yet adamantly, disagree.

I am quite impressed that the owner of Cameraderie came here and posted. He seems to be a genuinely good guy. So, I went to Cameraderie and joined up. I wrote a post in the "introduce yourself" section, and within an hour I had a bunch of "likes" and a few people writing a welcome reply to me and wishing me happiness there. I know it's only been a couple hours since I joined there, but I have gotten every indication that the members there are friendly and welcoming towards outsiders coming in.

I have started a birds in flight thread over there and it seems to have caught on. Several other POTN bird people over there.

So that's where they flew to. I wondered. The Bird Portraits thread has suffered a major molt in recent days. It used to be as densely populated as the old flocks of passenger pigeons that you can still read about.

Still a few of us posting here as well but had to go look at options. I tried the snakepit but decided it wasn't for me after seeing the things going on and had them delete my account.

You got yourself some traffic! I noticed a Mod dropped in...

I don't understand the format there.. Everyone's work is run together.
Conversations are muddled, it's confusing.

I started a Cuba thread in the Travel section
