Well I'm new here and I have been reading posts for 2 days now, I'm sorry about the pic size, i have reduced it, but if admin would like to reduce it further, please do so....I purchased a Canon EOS 350D on Tuesday, after owning a Fuji 601, I have a lot to learn, but i thought i would ask for opinions on one of the pics I have taken today......

The colors are great its just a bummer aout the bud in the front of it. Its distracting form the wonderful colorful flower behind it. Maybe just push it out of the way. Also the one to the top right that is leaving a shadow onthe flower...

What kind of flower is it? It looks like it has teeth.
