Could anyone make a recommendation for a lens to use with the 10D on a copystand.
I want to copy 4 x 6...and maybe larger photos - 8 x 10.

I am actually using a 50 mm with a close up ring....does ok but would like to get a zoom with macro...
so I can quit moving the camera up and down....
I am doing some cropping. These photos would then be put in Final Cut Pro...and converted to video.

Thanks for the help. This forum is very helpful.

Jimmie

A proper macro lens would be better quality than any zoom - on which 'macro' is not going to give you the close focus you have now anyway - but you would still have the problem of moving the camera up and down.
If your copystand is the type with a column then you really have the basics already and the 50mm is better than a zoom too.....
