Screen tubes for G1 & G6

Inspired by Terrywoodenpic, I am not much a handyman; just have to make do with what I've got around the house.

Any suggestions to improve this primitive technique of mine welcome!

I would say this is no laughing matter


it could be developed very easily into an excellent self erecting shade.


very light
fit into any corner of a bag
could not damage a camera.
just needs a bit of elastic
very cheap to make.

Must look out for some suitable black foam to give it a go.
Not sure how to fit the elastic though.
I can't be doing with things that flop about.

Good fellows, laughing is good! I'll do anything to make people laugh.

Terry, I think your smileys didn't work because the script prompts for URL not the image location on your PC. I use the 'smiles' icons provided on the right hand side of the text editor.

Well, my primitive design satisfied my need to block the sun rays in my lab test, but need to be field test on a sunny day.
