From nearly the same spot as my 2 sunset submissions, but looking east about 15 minutes prior to sunset. Steep hill out-of-focus twigs are actually tops of trees so I could not move/remove them, crop them and the radar dome out?...

That's a nice little hill! I think I would have increased the saturation a little...

Did I change the mood too much? Sorry! Couldn't live with the radome and the branches... :-)

That's wonderful! PP is my greatest downfall. Perhaps it is because of my lack of experience, also I do not have the latest tools. I currently have only PS 7 with no plugins ans PSP8. Could some put me on the right path to a list of software that I should be using? btw, I have a small flock of geese that would really go nicely over this imgae, now that the trees are gone ;)

I am still sort of stuck in a place where if it was captured by the lens it should be in the image, where the hell that came from I do not know...Thank you all for the comments. I have plenty more to read and even more to practice!

Well, I don't know how great my edit is: You can still see mottling of cloud shadows and leftover twig (I hurried!), but it's acceptable for a 5min job. Thanks!

I think you should upgrade to PSCS2 for $169US. I just did that with a Photoshop 5.5 license code for MacOS 8/9 from several years ago. If you goto the Adobe store you can do that, as long as you have a valid license code for your PS7. I didn't use any plugins for that picture, but I have NeatImage Pro, which works well for noise reduction; Kodak ROC Pro for color correction; FocusMagic, which I'm still undecided about; and Genuine Fractals, which lets you enlarge a pic with less artifacts than PS alone. I think a modern version of Photoshop should be your first purchase for PP, though PS7 is still quite capable! :-)

PS.. Thanks, Robert, also!
