I have a bad shutter button on a 10D, and was wondering if anyone has had to have one replaced and if so what did canon charge you?

I've heard of this kind of thing several times .Sometimes it can simply be a spec of dirt or it could have serious electronic problems where they have to replace entire circuit boards/FPC's

If it's a simple cleaning job it will be the normal minimum service fee (figure on $100 or more)
Obviously if it has electronic problems the cost will escalate
