The Atlanta Braves break Spring Training camp today and tomorrow. Major League season opens tomorrow and Minor League season opens Thursday, April 6. Things get a bit hectic for me during the season so I don't know how often I'll be on POTN during the next six months but I'll pop by as time permits. These images are from Minor League camp.

Thanks for looking -- C&C always welcome.

Exceptional images, as always, Jerry. This is the way baseball was meant to be shot. Number four is just flawless!

Jerry - Your work is as good as any pro baseball photog out there. I have learned a great deal from your posts, photo's, e-mails and other images we have exchanged. I'll send you some of the photo's I shoot next week in Cincinnati.

BTW, Marshall had a rough first inning last night.

Take care.

Thanks for the kind words everybody. I've learned a ton from the folks on this forum.

Chris -- Your help in post processing has been invaluable. Hope you get some good pics at the Cubs vs Reds games -- I'm anxious to see them! I was really disappointed for Marshall -- he just didn't have the stuff that night. I guess you watched the game yesterday. Sure glad Buck Coats got the winning run after his error that tied the game up in the 9th. Also glad to see Bobby Brownlie on the hill and get the win -- he went through Daytona a few years ago.

Hi Jerry,
Great shots as usual. You had me stumped for a little while with the first one though. I was trying to work out what pitch he was throwing as the fingers looked all wrong. Then it occurred to me - Circle Change Up!

Enjoy the season. I would like to be able to catch a few games myself but it is a little to far to drive........

Jason.

Exceptional work Jerry as usuall!!! I'm leaning towards No. 1 being my favorite in this series. That is amazing how clearly you can see his grip on the ball for the type of pitch that he is throwing. These are all just dandy and hard to pic a fav. Quite taking so many excellent shots, make it easier on all of us.......lol. Thanks for the great examples of how to shoot this sport.
