No more passengers

Longgggggg abandoned passenger service station. Currently a marketing firms office that has kept it in tip top shape.

Unfortunately the only thing I can make out is the blue post. Why not try to shoot it again showing the rest of the platform.

well i was trying to get the 1 pole in focus and having the rest blur out as they faded away. The rest of the platform is a huge building.

yea i know, but it wasn't quiet what i had in mind. Nothing seems to come out they way i have it in my head.

What would this exact same shot have looked like if you decided to use the same framing, but change your focus point to the bench that is barely in view? Then have the foreground and background pillars OoF. May make an intersting statement similar to the title of this thread?

Just brainstorming.

On the positive side to this picture, I am very impressed with how square you were able to get that pillar. Did you have to use a tripod to have it aligned perfectly vertical in your frame?

I love this shot. Forget about what 'it' actually is- the image is a lovely abstract.

It actualy looks like the image had been blurred using PS. The whole of the OOF aspect looks too even to have been "as taken". Forgive me if I'm wrong - but thats how it looks to me.

Yeah this image really serves no purpose in my eyes.... my eyes are trying to tell everything but that post to focus.

I likee ... I'd have gone for the same. The post is wonderful and the bokah hides the dull background.
