low light problems

i've been trying to get some wedding shots inside with my 10D and having less than stellar results. anyone out there that can help with how i can squeeze better quality from my setup?

currently using Canon 10D, 19-35mm Tamron & 75-300mm Canon USM IS lenses.

What ISO are you set to?

If you can't get the shutter speed you need try bumping the ISO up untill you get what you need.

Also make sure that you use the largest aperture availble from the lenses you are using.

If you feel like throwing money at the problem,.. Get yourself a lens with a larger aperture,. the 50mm f/1.8 will do wonders in low light. For longer range work,. ditch the 75-300 for a 70-200mm f/2.8 lens.

I would recommend adding a canon 50mm F1.8 to your lens collection. Good for general shots and no distortion.
The tamron would distort a lot when used at it's widest and the 50mm is a much sharper lens

If low light is your battle and you have the budget, try the 50mm f/1.4.

The optics are much better than the standard 1.8 at wide open.
