Thats weird !! I was going to shoot the Mayflower memorial in Southampton last week but it rained:eek: Btw I think Plymouth was just a stopover:lol: they left from Southampton in August:lol: and any American that can trace their ancestry back to the pilgrim fathers can have their name engraved on the plaque.

Lovely pics though , I like history:D

Yeah i think you're semi right but they originally sailed from Leiden, their religious colony or whatever (i make no excuses that i have no idea about any religious stuff) in Holland, then they went to Southampton to meet up with some more equally religious people and then onto Plymouth which was the final springboard for the voyage and onto the newer Plymouth ;)
So technically both Southampton and Plymouth were just stops in the trip ;)
