Hey,

Took my camera with me on a walk to the bank the other day, used my newish 50mm 1.8. These pictures reflect my perception of where I live.

Cheers captn.

By the way, how do these images look? On my pc (not this one) they are all bright enough and #1 is well saturated (#3 is purposely slightly desaturated), on here they seem a bit dark and not that well saturated.

Wonderful series of shots. That anti-personel wire sure is scary.

Cheers stu and stoney.

I agree, the blue skies don't really give a depressing like nature to the pictures but I felt that in some way it was a nice contrast to the decay.

Here are two very quick and simple B+W conversions. Any thoughts? I think I prefer the first shot here in B+W, nice range of tones. Let me know if the contrast is ok- hard to tell on this monitor, and feel free to edit how you feel fit.

I like the mish mash of different textures in the first shot. Looks like someone missed a spot when they were at the DIY

Love the first shot. So much colour & texture- nice feeling to it. The last shot of the barbed wire is really nice- artistic, if you please.
