The first picture is beautiful, and the conversion was done really well. I love the expression of your second shot, but the background is a tad busy. How did you do the second conversion?

The second shot is one of the Kubota actions, either sepia or chocolate, can't remember at the moment. It was a grab shot so I didn't have much time to worry about the background.

the expression in the 2nd one takes away from the backround. Doesnt bug me to much. Great photo's

I used an action called Platinum B&W. It seems to give it a little more depth than just a grayscale conversion or some other action types.

2 great pics, the background on the second onedoesnt bother me at all it is a true lifestyle pic which is where it differs from the first pic in that i see that more as a portrait

great job on both

Good shots, but in both shots the background is too busy for my tastes. You did catch great expressions in both.

I think I would have shifted right a little on the first one. Either that or crop the left out. They look great, though! First one is my fave!

I agree. the first one could use cropping. it's not nessesary, just what I would do.

The background in the second is fine. What's wrong with it?

Nice photos.
