I am a total newbie to the world of DSLR. I picked up my Rebel XT a couple of weeks ago and this was my first attempt to use the camera in it's "creative zone". I haven't gotten any extra lenses for it yet so please excuse the shortcomings of focus of the standard 18-55mm lens it came with.

Cheers! :)

Thanks for the welcome.;)

I've been lurking here ever since I got the camera and read through many of the FAQ's and other posts.

There seems to be some extremely talented people here who I will count on for inspiration and knowledge about the gear. I hope my shooting will one day be on par with theirs.

Thanks again.

Cheers! :)
