I think the 85mm - 135mm gap is usually filled with a zoom, and there's always the non-L 100 f/2. I guess on the tele side of the range, it's less important with very close focal lengths. There's nothing between the 200 f/2L and 300 f/2.8L either. Having too many heavy L primes in your bag might actually hurt your back

Just my thoughts.
For wedding work, a 100mm f1.4 L would be a huge bonus. Many of us are moving from slow zooms (comparitively) to uber-fast primes. The current 135L is a little long and quite slow when compared to the amazingly fast 85 f1.2. A 100mm f1.4 would easily bridge that gap. The 100mm f2 is a great lens but it's quite slow in comparison to the 85 f1.2.
If you aren't a fast prime shooter, then you probably won't see my point. In dim churches f2.8 is often too slow. Bumping the ISO hurts IQ. I can see a strong market for a 100L in the wedding community.
