rundown St. Louis rooftop

I went on a worktrip to St. Louis the past few days, and had a few moments to take a few photos around the neighborhood where I was working. I took this photo from a parking structure, it looked interesting with the broken doorway and the graffiti. St. Louis is really doing a lot to restore its beautiful early 1900's buildings into residential lofts (much like the Kansas City area where I work). This is my first real attempt at urban photography, which is a genre that has intrigued me since but I haven't had much experience in. Enjoy!

Nice processing on the image, good start at urban photography.

thanks for the comment. the only thing that is missing from the one I posted is some sharpening. I did it on a bigger version I have, and I think it enhances it even further.

Nice shot, I think it would look better with some of the bottom cropped off.

A good shot. The bottom left corner is a little distracting- cropping would help here. Otherwise, is a nicely composed shot.

yeah, i'll probably take out that window on the bottom, it sort of needlessly adds an element to an area that I would like to leave dark. I suppose burning the area could help also if I wanted to keep the whole 2:3 ratio
