Hi all

I took this on Wednesday at RAF Duxford at the United States Air Force Memorial.

I was looking down the side of this B-52 Bomber and just as the light hit the side I saw what I thought were tears dripping down across the graphics of how many missions this particular aircraft had flown.

I'm not really pro or anti military, but like the thought some are brave enough to defend us but I also hope for peace in our time.

I found it evocative, I hope you do too.

Davey

Shoot, man, I wish I had been there. Unfortunately, as a viewer, all I see is the obstructing glare. There are times when a photo just can't capture the substance of a place or vista.

Those old B-52s have seen much service that's for sure. Both as weapons of war and as deterrents. I understand the current crews are younger than the planes which have been in service since 1955. The planes cost a modest $54 million each.

I have to agree with Rad on this image.
