Personally I think the shot would be better without the props. I love the color of the T shirt against that background though. She's a beautiful little girl!

I like that first shot. The light on her hair is very nice. Very cute daughter :)

yea, no props, however that first shot is perfect with the lighting and color, it looks like she's glowing

may i ask what your lighting setup was?

Thanks all for your kind words. I too prefer not to have those big stuffed toys in the shots, they tend to block the lights. But with my daughter, her favorite toys helps bring natual expressions out of her.

This pic shows the lighting setup in my garage: 580EX as main light camera left, foamcore reflector right, 430EX as kicker, and 2 cheap slave flash has hair light and background light. In the first pic, she was sitting on that blue stool.
