I'm just tossing this out as this isn't
my "normal" genre of photography.

I like taking candids, but I had asked this
person if I could take an image of his hat!:)

He immediately put himself against a building
and "posed".....

I know his nose shouldn't be out of profile,
but I'm still a bit drawn to the image and
curious as to what others may think...either
technically or other....

I was hosting a group shoot of 8 photographers from various parts of North America (Toronto being the farthest travelled) and we spent 12 hours in various parts of NYC.

This is a gold mine for street photography, but alas, I didn't take advantage of it...

Thanks!

Tom D

Nicely exposed capture. Bolt upright, static straight up and down pose. In the business this is called a 'tin soldier' pose.

I can see right through those layers. You need to merge visible, then flatten them.

1. Create layer mask

2. Create another mask

3. Add gradient fill

4. Swap colors and paint away hat.

5. Do a hue and saturation layer.

6. Flatten again, then do a background layer.

You know the rest.
