You do? Must be the most unused 50 1.0 in existence. Red Rover, Red Rover, send the 50 on over. I'll pair it up with my slow 50 1.2 and see which I like better. I'll return the loser.

Kids all grown? In a sense. Youngest is a senior in Washington State, vying to get in to their vet school. So grown up? Yeah. Deep in my pocket? Heck Yeah.

Middle daughter, 23, going on 12, just ran out of gas on way home. Wife just left to bail her out yet again. Deep in my pocket still? Heck Yeah. :(

Oldest kid, son 26, still living at home? Heck Yeah. Deep in my pocket? Heck Yeah.

Oy, does it ever end?

BTW, your gear list does not show a 1.0, it shows a 1.2. Hmm, could dante be al dente?

Love you anyway, pal. I'm sure that was a freudian slippo.

Thomas, yeah I had to make the move. After 8 years of 16 hour days I was done with my restaurant love affair. Bubbas was great and I'll always have fond memories of the restaurant but now I have time to spend with my kids. Also been teaching my kids to fly rc airplanes. A big love of mine besides photography. How are things for you?

Things are about the same here, though the job has been keeping me too busy lately to do much in the way of photography.

We had a couple very large rc airplanes when I was young, but I don't remember us ever flying them. I remember building them with my dad, but we never seemed to get past that point. For years they were just stored in the rafters in the garage, then seemed to just disappear after we moved from Nebraska back to California.

My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.

I enjoyed building them, too. Like you, I didn't really get into the flying part; just building. I'm told I wasn't bad at it, either. I did have the pleasure of seeing a couple of my creations fly, but it was with someone else doing the stick and rudder thing.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

When I was a kid there were no radio control. Heck, there wasn't even color tv. I flew gas powered planes, but they were tethered by wire to a hand controller. The Cox engines were a **** to start with a finger spinning the prop. There were no automatic starters then either.
