It is. Unfortunately, I am on doctor's orders not to consume certain things for a while, so I had a salad. I didn't suffer---it was delightful! Dante tempted me (briefly) with a couple menu items, including a lobster sandwich, and a 1/2 pound hambuger made with Kobe beef, but my conscience prevailed. In fact, there was a short, intense discussion with my conscience (Mrs. Belmondo), and I was convinced that straying from my diet would have serious consequences, both long and short term.

Since everyone was having a very good time, I decided to suffer in silence and forego the really tasty looking things. By so doing, Mrs. Belmondo decided to let me live another day.

I would heartily recommend that anyone who finds themself anywhere near the Bay Area make the short drive up to San Anselmo. It's around a half hour north of the Golden Gate Bridge, and it is simply one of the best meals of any type you will ever get, anywhere.

Best part? Dante is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. No bull.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

They are camera PUSHERS, nice but, they do salivate when I walk in. It was funny seeing their eyes when we ALL came in with our gear. They were chompin' at the bit :):):):)

I was fortunate to capture this moment at the camers store when Steve was telling Dante he just put a new 1DsMK2 on his account.

LOL
Good capture of the moment, Kevin.

You'll also notice Maureen's "Yeah, right..." expression.

I seriously doubt I'll ever have a 1DsMK2 on my gear list. I understand that Canon requires that you submit a photo portfolio before they'll sell you one.

Any shots from around the diner ... that sounds weird but I am a big cafe/diner fan and like little more that a big industrial coffee machine, nice tables, ranges, etc. Seriously

Very funny shot Mr Belmondo ... you are a King Hoot.

Just a technical question: I thought polarizers only reduced NON-METALLIC glare. In which case, they would be useless on a CHROME DOME?

Looks like you all had a blast. Nice to see Skip is looking good! Dante, you are a long way from where I live but I promise, I will visit Bubba's someday!
