Pile of litter in the sun after a cleanup day. Different!

I used the 135L even though its more like a 50mmm shot, fitted with ND filter. Monopod. I like it. This months comp at the camera club includes a Creative section... I wonder if I should shake and bake this is Photoshop.

Definately plenty of potential there. I like the idea.

Yeah thats a nice color. what about cropping out the background entirely to leave just the rusty color for more impact?

Yeah I might crop a lot. There's some fine detail on the ones shooting in the direction of the sun. The first one has the sun behind me.

Now it may surprise you but people passing by were puzzled by my attention to a pile of rubbish.

It was situated on a the side of a downtown street with 10 story buildings etc.

When you say "shake and bake", what do you mean, can you post an example of what you were thinking about?

I was thinking about boosting the contrast to look at the possibilities. It looked a tad wild, then I plastic wrapped in PS Elements... and I like it. Looks like a Recycling propaganda piece now. Its all dinosaur juice y'know!
