It's not unusable out of focus... I thinks it's a nice shot. Love the reflection!

I think that it is a very nice photo - I think I am glad that I don't live in alligator country. Do you have a program that allows you to apply unsharp masking? A little of that will go a long way to bringing out details.

Ok so what should I do if my 20ds auto focus is off? Because I have a lot of nice shots that I cant exactly go back down to Florida real quick to get again ya know?

Now that is darker in my computer room, the gator really looks good! If I were you, I'd certainly try unsharp masking on your other "out-of-focus" images. Do you have PS? Is so, almost anyone on this forum could help you. I happen to use Picture Window Plus, and unsharp masking is as simple as calling it up, making a couple of slider adjustments, and pressing <apply>.
