Stolen Stuff!! eyes peeled!

Recently returned from a four week trip accross Canada starting from Toronto and ending in Vancouver, but the last day before due to fly home the car was stolen complete with Eos D10
Sigma lens AF 170-500 / 5,0-6,3 RF ASPH
Serial no. 10379**
Hoya skylight filter 86mm for above lens
Canon 2x extender mk1 (white)
Canon 17-35 f2.8L
Canon Speedlight 550ex Flash
Manfrotto tripod head with release plate
Cokin filter kit 58mm holder and various filters polarizes etc
Lowepro phototreker camera bag
Compact flash memory card 512mb
Various leads and instructions for Cannon Eos d10
Spare battery and rapid charger for Eos d10

Please keep your eyes open in Vancouver for some cheep gear (cause those little ****ers took mine) along with all pictures of the entire trip! approx 450 pics.. any suggestions what geat i should replace update?
ps travel insurance is not worth a thing! all coming off house insurance!

Hopefully your homeowners insurance is as good as mine is.

I had some minolta stuff stolen a few years ago and had an insurance check in my hand within 10 days.

Also, when quoting what you have make sure you quote suggested retail in order to offset depreciation.

I am really sorry to hear you were ripped off

I know this doen't help now, but look into a personal articles policy from your insurance company. I have one that covers my sports equipment(golf clubs) and high priced electrical stuff like my cell phone and camera's. I only pay $40.00 a year and they replace at no deductible for any reason, i.e. lost, stolen, damaged. I have State Farm Insurance.
