Deffently have a focus problem.. Lips.

Ok I deffentley have an auto focus problem with my 20d. I was hoping this wasnt true but today I looked at several photos taking with all different focus points and after each one I manualy focused and the image came out the way it should have, very sharp and clear. One picture in particlular was a picture of a face. I focused manualy then again auto focus. The picture I manualy focused I could see the hairs on the face the picture with auto focus I could not. Any suggestions? Here are some lip pictures that I have inlarged for all to see. I have tried all settings focus points etc. I am afriad if I send if off for repair they wont see anything wrong.

There is a focus test sheet somewhere on line to print out and photograph.
Do a search on POTN. It helps to have a standard pic we can comment on.
