Thanks. I really really really like the lens, but in the year that I've had it, I find that I barely use it. I've basically shot an indoor pottery studio gathering a few times, and a few karate events. Other than that, it normally just sits in the bag.

Another 1.8 shot, taking the emphasis of the cars :)

Songs of the Sea I suppose! Nice shots, especially when lighting is a big problem there.

This is very underrated lens. It has really nice bokeh.

I have gone through all 22 pages of this thread and I now feel confident that I will enjoy shooting with this lens on my 5DmkII (and subsequently the 40D I'll be getting soon)

I've heard enough mixed reviews on this thing to make my head spin, but I'm glad to finally see some actual IMAGES to prove it's capable of solid results.

I'll have a fun little low light kit when i get it, 28 f/1.8, 50 f/1.4, 85 f/1.8
Ought to be a good time :)

Thanks everyone!

Yes I just sold it a few weeks ago as I bought a 24-70L. The 28 is already covered, though I miss the f1.8 - f2.5 apperture.

This seems like a perfect lens for me, in between the 24L and 35L and won't burn a hole in my pocket..

@2.8 *snip*

Great! I love it man! I've been really happy with mine so far. I'm trying to find every opportunity to use it. I actually have been using it a whole lot for video too! It's quite good at that!
