Gettin' back into the camera thing... and very much an amateur. Just picked up the 28mm 1.8 a couple days ago, and I'm having fun playing with it for sure on my T2i! For some reason I'm going through a B&W phase again.

Good shots, like the 2nd one best, powerful eyes.

That's a striking photo.

And oddly, he looks (in my opinion) like Neal Peart, the drummer from Rush. I'm not sure why my mind jumps to that, but there you have it.

Thank you. bw!

Thank you! And I can't tell you how huge of a Rush fan I've been for decades now - (more their early work than later) so I definitely know Neil and I see what you're talking about!

^^^ pretty much the best product shot of a 580EX II I've seen so far. The only minor thing is, the LCD is pretty pale to read. Otherwise - great angle to put this.

Two from a wedding from two weeks ago. I just love shooting with with a shallow Depth Of Field. Left these relatively unprocessed, just some spot cleanup and the default raw settings.

Don't mind the weird poses in either shot by the way... We were goofing off after a long ceremony and taking the "mandatory shots". I always end up picking the goofy shots as my favorites though... Also gives a bit more connection to how the couple really is.
