I guess this would maybe apply to NHL games as well. I noticed all the photographers had wireless transmitters in their hot shoes. Are these tied into a strobe system or something that the building has in place???

At Conseco Fieldhouse (Indiana Pacers..) there are four banks of very large strobes mounted in the rafters, one bank on each corner of the floor for the photographers to use. I've heard the photographers (or thier employers..) pay as much as $350/game to use the lights..
