Bedford Avenue a very popular route in the middle of Brooklyn. Nice pictures, Pio. If you had gone down to 8th Avenue you could have had some seriously good Chinese food. Brings back lots of memories of my father coming home at 3 in the morning and smelling the bagels baking in the shops, bringing a dozen or so home if the door of the stores were open. Thanks for posting. Maybe next time I'm in NYC (May 13), I'll take a few from your side of town, Queens. Suzie - Still Speaking Canonese!

Bedford Ave is the longest road/street in Brooklyn, stretching from Sheapshead Bay to Greenpoint near the Queens Boarder. These look like they were captured in Williamsburg or Greepoint, this is where Bedford gets really narrow. Thanks for sharing and bringing back some memories. Keith

Thanks Rich, Mills and Dave. #4 is a personal favorite of mine too, high contrast really brings out those lines. About some being dark, I guess it's a result of bumping up the contrast to bring out a bit of texture. Pio

As for the shots, they are all very good. I like the first one with the guy having the coffe in the window, newspapers machines each catering to a different sector of the community, and finally that splash of graffiti on the wall above the paper machines, such a classic Brooklyn moment. Again, nicely done. Right you are, kr88! This was taken at Williamsburg, just a bit north of Metropolitan Avenue. Thanks about that trivia about Bedford Avenue, I didn't realize that it was that long.
