I am impressed with the sharpness.....specially when shooting handheld. Good job. Thank you. The shots were f7.1 and f8 @1/160th. So pretty much the "sweet spot" of the aperture range. I was surprised I needed as much ISO with the bright sun but these required 2500.I feel the images can only get better once I get a flash set up and reduce the ISO to 800 or less. The 28-105 is so narrow on the crop, it's frustrating. I have to stand a mile away LOL. I already have to do that with the 100mm macro, but it's just a lot easier to move with my feet vs. zooming. I never thought I would be the one to say that because I LOOOOVE zoom.
Image00031 I took a bunch of shots of this guy. He didn't budge. My favorites are the ones where his face fills the frame & you can see my reflection in his eyes. It's incredible.

Image00098 those were all taken handheld. Auto mode for now hehehe. Just wanted to get my hands dirty with it since I haven't had ANY time to use the 60D since getting it. All manual focus though. I find the MF very easy because the focus ring is gigantic. RHChan84: "Damn it. If I didn't just put 3500 down on a wedding, I would of picked up a 7D."

I also tried some bees the other day but my images weren't great. But for the sake of sharing, here were my results. Some sun splotches in here leave unwanted blowouts. Also these dry flower pedals are unattractive: All handheld, natural light. Becoming a gear junkie.
