Well, it just screws onto the front thread of the 100mm via the use of reversing rings so your lens performs as normal, including AF.

Looks wise? Kinda long and a right PITA to use as the slightest movement renders the subject out of focus! Plus you have to be literally about a couple of inches from the subject.

I haven't got a photo of my set up but you can view an array of similar rigs that the macro photographers here use on a dedicated thread. Some of them are spectatcular - with extention tubes+100mm+reversed rens+blash bracket+2 flashes!
