25 years ago, that could have been me on the side of the road having a dirty water hot dog with mustard and sourcraut and cola. Memories. Great in B&W. I also crave the smell of roasting chestnuts during the Christmas holidays. Those pictures should have smells with them. ;)

Great shots. I really like #2 and especially in b/w. I don't think there'd be any other way for that shot.

Suzie, I guess I have to ask why you didn't stick around in the great city or at least move somewhere nearby as my parents have. The smell is quite interesting actually. I got some prints, and they smell a bit like ink. Who would've figured that. ;)

Thanks Bryan. I initially did #2 in color, but the intensity of color from the cones was far too distracting. The B&W ended up neutralizing the whole shot though.

I like #2 just the way it is. A closer shot could have been good also but would have changed the entire meaning behind the picture. Just a cute chick eating a hotdog, no offense intended.

Imho, urban must be shot in b/w. Color is too distracting. Very nice.

First one Chris, love chicks in converse. Hands down the best shot you've posted

I don't know what good composition is.... Sometimes for me composition has to do with a certain brightness or a certain coming to restness and other times it has to do with funny mistakes. There's a kind of rightness and wrongness and sometimes I like rightness and sometimes I like wrongness. Diane Arbus

Thanks Sp00ks. And I believe that they were eating pizza, not a hotdog. A hotdog would've made more sense though since everyone knows NYC for the street hotdogs. Had someone read your sentence though and not saw the picture, that could've been interpreted seriously wrong. ;)

Thanks Sean. I do feel that these shots were my best clicks ever. Out of the 14,588 clicks I've done as a photographer, all in the past three months, these two would have to be my best shots ever.
