Hi All,

I've had my Digital Rebel for well over a year now but don't seem to have ever found the time to play with it properly. Went to a car show at the weekend and hastily took these pictures before the rain came down in sheets! I would have liked to have taken my time and tripod but alas - what do you think. Was using a polariser so really did need that tripod!

Too bad it rained. I like the first one, I might have tilted it a bit to add a sense of dysequilibrium.

Very nice shots but I think you can push the color more and little more sharpening to make it pop. Since you did not turn on the edit ok I can't show you what I mean.

I think the edits are bit to sharpened they appear very edgy on my screen..I like the originals sharpness and the colors of the edits better...

I must agree w/ you that I over sharpen in PS. I was trying to show the OP what is possible in PS and how to make the subject pop so I intentionally oversharpen it to increase the contrast of the subject only and that might have made the subject a little "edgy". But I'm glad you like the color.
