Forum suggestion regarding color

I was thinking. It would be a good idea to change the thread content background color to middle gray. More specifically in the "photo sharing" sections. As we know, surrounding colors and tones affect how we see an image. If the background were all white, the image would appear darker to us. If the background were all black, it would appear brighter. Middle grey would be best. There's a reason why the photoshop background is middle grey. So i think we should take that and implement it into the forum. Middle grey would allow for better viewing and ad a little bit more consistency regarding how images are seen on everyone's monitors. What do you guys think?

Is it possible to change the colour skins on this forum? I prefer darker colours as it's more restful on the eye, and makes posted shots look better, as the OP suggested. Please see this forum which allows you to change colour - I think it uses the same software as here. The option to change colour is in BL corner.

Personally, I like darker colors, too. Pekka is working on a major overhaul of POTN, so that may be an option with the new forum.

^ I hope so - there's been many a time where I've thought about this as well. A darker colour theme would improve presentation of posted shots.

Yes it migth but I think I can safely say that its not gonna happen with the current. And in the new it is most likely not a top priority but it will be noted.
