Beautiful. I love night shots. It would probably be even more dramatic if some of the sky was cropped out and it was a full 800 pixels on the long side.

Bless the recently fallen and their family and friends.
I have a Cannon with me at all times. You can't take the shot if you don't have something with which to shoot.

ive been told for night photography to use smaller apetures such as f 8 to limit light spreading so you have crisp lines of light in your image. It doesnt seem to be a huge issue here but it should make your images look even sharper in the future. also the twilight hour, just after sundown, where the sky turns a deep blue makes for better cityscapes rather than black skys with color pollution (the red haze). good shot though

What about this one? I used a F5.6 instead with a 8". Same ISO. Unfortunately the tripod was not properly balanced and the buildings in the left seem to be like the Leaning Tower of Pisa!! Thanks for your advise!!
About croping it, I did it and it becomes nicer! I'll try to print it to see how it looks in a bigger format! Thanks!!

Both are nice shots. I prefer the second because you still have some light in the sky which adds a nice touch to the photo. Both could use cropping of the upper sky.

the second is much better. you could crop it and rotate it slightly so that it isnt leaning and the horizon is level. its an easy fix in photoshop. i dont mind the excess sky but this shot might work extremely well as a panoramic, if you are familiar with stitching them together in photoshop. good shot.
