I know that G6s are now discontinued, but I have a friend who really wants to buy a new one. Are there places that still have them in stock? or are the used forums his only hope for this camera?

But B&H Photo in NYC is a very reputable dealer, and people have reported obtaining used ones in good condition from them recently. I purchased my 420EX flash from B&H used, and it was a great deal and in perfect condition. So that may be his best route if he really wants one.

Apr 15, 2006 21:25 | #3 I saw a new G6 in the Cabela's store near Austin this past Friday and the last time I was in Best Buy in Mc Allen there was at least 1 G6. I would imagine there are a few stores around that still have some of the G6s in stock. There are many people that pass on the G6 because they want something smaller and cheaper so there may be a few in the stores for a while. Joe
