Vacation Pics

Hi!

Just wanted to get your opinion on a couple of shots i took on my vacation:

1. Rainbow Falls

#1 has tons of potential for being a "wish I had done that". Give the shot to Mike to tone down the bright sunlight or use it to learn photoshop.

#2 Im not letting my wife around those guys

#3 Love this - wish the focus was on the kids, but it has a feeling to it anyway.

#1 -- I can see the intent -- a slow shutter speed to blur the water -- but it's just too bright (overexposed) for me. Lots of details on the left, but the right side is just too far blown. A neutral density filter would help with shots like this.

#2 -- Might straighten the horizon just a bit.

#3 -- The kids need to be in focus for me. I don't get a lot out of the picture.

#4 -- Rock and plant detail is better than #1, but the details of the water are lost in the overexposure.

Looks like it was a fun place to shoot. Clearly the bright light was a challenge. I'll have to plan for that the next time I head somewhere bright (not a real issue around Seattle right now).
