Anyone has an idea of when will that lens be available in the UK? What sort of price do we expect? I'd say somewhere around £600.
I am looking to get a decent quality stardard zoom to my 20D and was hoping it could fit the bill.

Thanks - oooff..that is a lot for an EF-S. At that price level one would expect an L league picture quality. anyone aware of a review? EOS 20D

It doesn't have IS though. I guess this lens is really for very low light zooming. Leo
