Took this flower.
Any ideas for improvement..What did i do wrong?

It's a really excellent shot of the flower. The exposure seems to be about right and so is the color balance. I'm not sure why it is so contrasty along the stem where the highlight is blown out.

The composition is somewhat hindered by the blossom being so centered and by the fragment of red from the blossom just out of frame to the right. Also, it appears that the actual scene was rotated about 35 degrees ccw for some reason. I could be imagining that, but that's the impression that you get from the lines in the background.

I think the depth of field is about ideal for this scene.

Thanks for the helpfull critique. Actually there was no rotation, it grew that way.
Picture was shot over exposed (raw), did the best I could.

OK- very good. So, you must have experienced some disappointment in not being able to recover the blown out highlights. If you are not yet familiar with it the Highlight Alert feature on your playback display (also known as the "Clipping display") is really worth getting familiar with.
