On the 9th April a new shopping center - Allum - opened at a nearby suburb to Gothenburg. My parents and I went to have a look and I brought along the camera. Here are some shots.

1) This guy is named Petter and is a Swedish rap artist. He was performing and signing stuff.

2) This boy sure knew what he wanted to buy...

Nice series Claire! It looks like you are getting comfortable with urban shooting. In #5, did they turn away from you when you took the picture? I like #2 too. I refrain though from taking this type of pictures here in NYC - often the parents object, and I really don't want to deal with the likely argument that will follow.

Great series Nouna ... Petter the Swedish rap artist is very funny: his clichéd cap and clothes, the bored people in line waiting just says so much. No. 2 is very cute and we've all been there as kids and grown ups. Now 4 and 5, well it's great you took these and I really like the feel. Again, boredom seems to be the national pass-time in Sweden-land. The woman's face says so much as she looks at the flowers she bought for herself.

Cool pics Claire, a slice of urban life that is pretty much the same all over the world.....here in Oz we are forbidden to take pictures in the big shopping centres (at least where I live). Which is a shame because I would like to do some candids of Aussie shops and post.

I'm getting comfortable with urban shooting more and more, but it also depends where I am, me thinks. This shopping center was my easiest experience as it's so new and there were lots of people, so nobody really cared about the camera.

#5 They were all standing in line and just looking bored like that. None of them turned away when I took the picture.
