Some more of my spring shots from this weekend.
The apple trees were blooming and so pretty I had to try to get a few shots. I like the buds better since they had a little more color and didn't get as blown out with the whites, but I figured I'd include both the buds and the blooms. Too bad all the bees were so high in the tree or I could have played around with a few shots of those as well. =oP
Played around with a bit saturation and contrast in PS, otherwise untouched.

edited to upload larger file.

the first one is nice, the second is lacking detail in the whites. it is also hard to get a good view of your images since they are so small.

Thanks, the first one is my favorites too since the whites did get blown out in the second, no matter how I did go about it I seemed to get the whites too white...flash for ya. I need to try without flash next time.
Sorry the first image I resized to 800w was close to 300K so I had to downsize some more to get them under 100. I can try again I guess.....the new ones better sized?

much better i can see them now. good colors, maybe not using flash would help or using something to diffuse it and turning the flash power down would help.

Good. =o)
Yeah flash was the big problem, I hadn't intended staying out til sun was going down, had planned on taking the shots when we first walked over but ended up staying so late that the sun was going down and of course my flash was at my ILs 5 mins away...I'll try again next time without hte flash or use my external and bounce it. Live and learn I guess. At least it was 5 mins away and not 2 hours at our house! LOL
