Historic American Bosch building in Springfield, Mass

Here in Western Massachusetts the American Bosch building was practically a landmark and over 100 yrs old. Unfortunately with the closing of many factorys, it was only a matter of time before its doors were closed. On December 17th of 2004 the building caught on fire. More than 135 firefighters from 13 communities fought the blaze but due to ydrant malfunction, structural deterioration, collapse, security windows andd doors hampering entry to the four-story building, there wasn't much they could do but watch it burn down. It has since been a year and a half since that fire and the tear down of the factory is still taking place. I had a chance to sneak in there today and get some pictures. C&C always welcome. Enjoy.:)

I remember when the Bosch here in Springfield employed many..very sad..and many to follow

I'm not familir with Bosch. What kind of company was it?

Haha, I know it's not something we like to admit.

Anybody else have any comments on them? I like how these came out. I kind of hit a writers block the past month or so, and this really helped me get out of it.
