Thank you all for the suggestions. The reason to sell the 80-200 is to get a lighter lens I can handle. Also I was thinking 350d because, I didn't want to spend a lot more than what I got for the trade. I am happy with 10d except for some soft focus/back focus. I just want to eliminate that by going with a different body. So is there any thing I would miss if I got the 350d?? 10D, sigma 15-30, canon 28-135IS, canon 50 MKII.

There are plenty of 20D's out there for pretty decent prices. I have an XT, love it but I still want more (iso 3200, speed, better AF, etc). That's why I have a 20d coming in the mail. Canon 5D2, 1DIII & 7D

Yeah, the back wheel for one.... Totally different (far worse) UI IMHO. I'ld say get a 20D if you won't afford the 30D. "I think the idea of art kills creativity" - Douglas Adams

sugarzebra Cream of the Crop More info | Apr 18, 2006 14:55 | #10 I would replace the 17-40 with the EFS 10-22 (to extend the focal range and reduce overlap betwen lenses) and settle for a 20D if the 30D put you above your budget. Scott

A friend sold me his 10D for a back up a while back and bought an XT because he thought he wanted a smaller body. Everytime I see him he mentions how big a mistake it was. There is nothing wrong with the XT, its just a different animal. After 4 months hes still getting used to the steps neccessary to access stuff that was much simpler to get to on the 10D. And even with the grip on it, he can't get used to the smaller feel. He's currently shopping for a 20D or 30D. 1dMkII
