I did test mine and while it was not as sharp as usual, it was not like bokeh either, even at f/4.

Thanks, it appeared to be a camera issue, which must have occured at about the same moment I bought this lens. Now suddenly other lenses can't focus with outer focus points either. Camera is under repair.
Sorry for blaming the lens, just stupid coincidence...

Photos were taken with a polorized filter w/lens hood at Playa Del Carmen, Mexico (south of Cancun). The filter really brings out the blue in the photos.

Lend or borrow? Lending seems kinda mean...

Great shots nonetheless.

I meant brought it over to my house, and let me use it for the week.

I wonder if that's my sensor, or the lens. Let's just say that my father uses his equipment. Bags and lens caps are optional for him.

Small aperture, bright sky - I'm betting sensor.

Took these at an anniversary meet for a friends car shop. Some PP done is CS4. Love the wide shots & perspective that this lens gives. It's build quality is also superb, feels like a tank... definitely deserves the name "Tankina"

There are two versions of this lens. Has anyone bought the new one after having the old one? Is it worth the extra $100?
