Has anyone compared this to the 11-16? I really want this lens in the near future, but I also saw the 11-16 which is oodles more expensive for some reason. Is it just the bigger aperture?

^ For the most part, yes... But shooting landscapes don't require such a large aperture... So it will depend on your shooting needs if you need the f/2.8...

PS. Wonderful shots, everyone... This was my go-to landscape glass when I had it in my inventory... Slap on a CPL and you're good to go!!!

I love my copy, I am just debating on whether keeping it with the new 5DII.

One of recent favourites out of this.

Is that from the 5D2? Very nice. Where does it start to vignette on the 5DMkII?

Nope, I ordered the 5D today. Have a painstaking week and a bit to wait. :D

From what I have read, it starts around 16mm but will do some testing as soon as the package arrives!

Well, in the 1.3x crop of the 1D, it starts at about 15.5mm. I'd just like it confirmed though, that it will fit the 5D. It should, but never got an answer from an owner. :)
