Fine Flyer's game last night. Looks like there was a "Price Check" on isle 5 last night.

Ha ha. Price was less than stellar last night. It was a bizzare game for us. Habs put on a lot of pressure and outshot the Flyers 34-14 (or something like that) which is good. They had a 5 on 3 pp for 2 minutes early in the third that was brutal yet at the end of the game they potted 2 goals during a 5 minute major. Other than the loss, I can't decide if they played well or not.

I'd still start Price, but I wouldn't hesitate to pull him if they let in 2 early goals. Hopefully Higgins and the Kostitsyn bros. can start to find the back of the net. It wouldn't hurt if someone tried to get under Birons skin a little too!

Habs better win the next one or it's lights out in HOCKEYTOWN.

I definitely think the Habs had the better chances. Look at how many times they hit the post, 3 atleast. They were putting on a lot of pressure. The Flyers did more dump and chase than anything but had just a few chances and capitalized on them. They almost gave it away.

What's with Price dropping the puck to his team mate when an opponent is just inches away? He almost gave up a goal last night just like he did with the Bruins right at his net.

He better pay attention.

Looks like tonights game will be the last this year for the Avs. Now I need to find a new avatar.
